Licensed Psychologist
Licensed Psychologist
Ann Schissel is a licensed psychologist who has worked extensively with anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and addiction. She is also passionate about providing therapeutic services to individuals in the LGBTQ+ community and incorporates issues of gender and sexuality into practice.
Additionally, Ann particularly enjoys working with medical professionals and therapists as clients. She understands the unique stressors that accompany working in the care-giving professions and is devoted to providing support for these individuals.

Ann’s primary modality is cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT); however, she identifies as largely integrative and borrows from other traditions, including feminist-multicultural, psychodynamic, and third-wave cognitive strategies, as they appear appropriate for each individual client. Moreover, she also uses clinical hypnosis in practice, largely to assist in work around anxiety, sleep, and trauma-related concerns.
